About

Seneca Cottom is a GRI-certified sustainability professional with more than two decades of global experience in ESG strategy, sustainability leadership, and stakeholder engagement. As Head of Sustainability at Alshaya Group, she leads sustainability initiatives across retail and hospitality operations in 17 countries, with a particular focus on the Middle East.

Her expertise spans ESG strategy, the circular economy, regulatory compliance, resource efficiency, and stakeholder engagement. She works closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into core business practices while aligning regional initiatives with global sustainability standards.

Alongside her corporate role, Seneca serves on the Advisory Board of AIESEC in Kuwait, where she provides strategic guidance on sustainability, ESG, leadership development, and organizational growth. As a Lean In Certified Facilitator, she also leads workshops that help organizations recognize workplace bias and foster more inclusive leadership cultures.

In her role as Executive Fellow, Seneca will contribute perspectives on ESG strategy, sustainable business transformation, and long-term organizational resilience.
