Denis Astapchenia is Chief Commercial Officer and Director of Financial Technologies at Andersen, where he has built and launched the Financial Services Technologies practice from the ground up. Today, it is the leading unit in the company in terms of revenue, accumulated expertise, and successful enterprise-scale implementations across banking, insurance, fintech and capital markets.

Building on strong capabilities in enterprise integration, large-scale delivery, core and back-office transformations, and next-generation digital platforms, Denis’s current focus is on strengthening positions in high-growth technology areas, including: Artificial Intelligence, Data & Advanced Analytics and Cybersecurity.

Prior to Andersen, Denis held a senior leadership role in a large insurance organization, overseeing insurance and reinsurance operations at scale — experience that continues to inform his deep understanding of the financial services industry.

In his role as Executive Fellow, Denis will provide guidance on financial technologies, enterprise transformation, and scalable digital product development, supporting organizations in translating technological ambition into tangible results.
