Amna Usman Chaudhry

About

Amna Usman Chaudhry is a financial economist and frontier technology strategist whose work focuses on Autonomous Finance: the structural shift toward financial systems in which AI agents can analyse, decide, transact and coordinate across increasingly programmable infrastructure.

She is the author of KYS: Know Your Swarm (SSRN, 2026), a governance framework for multi-agent AI systems in regulated finance. Her wider expertise spans fintech, artificial intelligence, blockchain, digital assets, financial inclusion and responsible innovation.

Alongside her research and advisory work, Amna is a graduate-level lecturer in frontier finance and emerging technologies and serves on boards and advisory councils across fintech, technology and responsible innovation.

As a UNESCO Women4EthicalAI Expert and two time Innovate Finance Women in FinTech Powerlist honoree, Amna contributes to advancing responsible AI and inclusive innovation. She has also spoken at and contributed to United Nations convenings and multi-stakeholder platforms on algorithmic accountability, digital assets, AI governance and the future of Autonomous Finance.

As an Executive Fellow, Amna will contribute original research and perspectives on Autonomous Finance, responsible innovation and the future of financial systems.
